This project aims at the construction of the education supervision system with Chinese characteristics, and considers that the education supervision with Chinese characteristics is a basic part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics, a key measure to show the superiority and uniqueness of socialist education with Chinese characteristics, and a necessary requirement to promote the sustainable and healthy development of education supervision in China. Therefore, building a sound education supervision system and mechanism with standardized institutions, professional and efficient teams, scientific and complete standards, full application of results, and powerful accountability authority is crucial to realizing the modernization of education governance system and governance capacity, and then building it into a strong education country.
This research adheres to two kinds of thinking logic, one is historical logic, which is the research logic of adhering to the philosophical standpoint of Marxs historical materialism and based on the actual development of education supervision in China. Clarify the development context of education supervision and the interaction mechanism with social economy and culture, and find out the historical genes and valuable experience of education supervision with Chinese characteristics through the systematic overview and present the brilliant achievements of education supervision with Chinese characteristics. One is the comparative logic. Through the comparison with the major countries in the world, it can help us to find out the cultural gene and particularity of Chinese characteristic education supervision. This book studies the history and current situation of the education supervision in the United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands and Russia. By summarizing the basic characteristics of each country and making objective comparison, it objectively and accurately extracts the particularity and superiority of the characteristic education supervision in China.
